I met Christine, another Vaughan postcard volunteer recently. We both agreed that the messages on the postcards were quite fascinating. Christine sent me a list of some of the cards that she had come across with interesting messages. During my visit today at the Bristol Record Office search room, I looked at the cards she had suggested in the categories she has been researching; City docks and harbourside, Park Row, Bristol Royal Infirmary and St Michael’s Hill, Old Market and St Philip’s. I also looked at categories; Temple Meads Station and Postcards relating to cemeteries. I discovered some further interesting messages, plus these images.
